The new EasyCommerce major release has officially rolled out, and we couldn’t be more excited!

When we launched EasyCommerce (beta) back in February, our main goal was simple: gather user-generated content, such as your feedback, ideas, and honest opinions about how the product felt.

Over the past four months, you responded. We received a flood of messages, suggestions, feature requests, and real stories about how EasyCommerce could be even better. And we took every bit of it seriously.

Our ultimate mission is to give you the best possible ecommerce experience on WordPress. To make that happen, we went back to the drawing board.

We rethought, redesigned, and reinvented EasyCommerce to turn it into a tool that puts you one step ahead of your competitors and one step closer to your customers.

So, what makes this major release (v1.0) so special?

Let’s start with something that used to feel a little frustrating: product listing.

In older versions, creating a product meant jumping between multiple tabs and fields. It worked, but it wasn’t smooth. Now, that has completely changed. 

With v1.0, you get a redesigned product listing interface that brings everything into one screen. From the product name and pricing to inventory and images, everything is now laid out simply, right in front of you.

It doesn’t just look cleaner, but faster and intuitive too. The whole experience now mirrors the ease of writing a blog post, simple, direct, and just what you need.

[New Addition] Let the AI be Your Copywriter

One of the most exciting things in this release is something we think every store owner will love: built-in AI assistance.

Have you ever stared at a blank screen wondering what to write for your product description? Or struggled to come up with a catchy title?

For your relief, we’ve introduced an AI content generator that helps you write all of that, right from the product screen.

Just give the AI a few details (in most cases, the name only) and it will suggest a product title, short or long descriptions, summaries, and even highlight key benefits. You can accept, edit, or regenerate as needed.

[New Addition] Need Help? Just Ask the Chatbot

AI Chatbot

The magic of AI is yet to be finished. We’ve also added a new AI-powered chatbot, designed especially for store owners.

Let’s say you want to add a discount, view recent orders, or check your shipping settings. Instead of hunting around for the right page or reading through long documentation, you can just type your question into the chatbot.

It will show you exactly what to do or take you to the right place. It’s fast, friendly, and built to help you navigate EasyCommerce with ease.

[WordPress Native] Product Page Builder (and more)

Customizing product pages used to mean coding or relying on extra tools. But not anymore.

With EasyCommerce v1.0, you can now design your product pages visually using the Gutenberg page builder, the same editor you already use in WordPress.

It’s drag-and-drop simple, with no extra plugins or technical skills needed.

Now you can:

  • Move your gallery, description, or other sections around
  • Add video blocks, testimonials, or product highlights
  • Match your layout to your brand’s style, easily

And to save time, you’ll soon be able to save your layout as a template (upcoming), so you don’t have to redo the same edits for every product.

With EasyCommerce, your product pages look the way you want, and that’s exactly the point.

[State of the Art] More Flexibility with Custom Fields

Every online store is unique, and sometimes you need more than the standard options.

That’s why we’ve extended our support for custom fields. Developers and advanced users can now create their own fields to capture specific product information, from delivery timeframes to extra buyer input.

These fields can be customized and displayed however you like, giving your store the flexibility it needs without making things messy.

And the best part? It stays lightweight and fast, just like the rest of EasyCommerce.

[Pricing] One Simple Plan, Everything Included

We also made a big change to how we offer our premium features.

Before, users had to pick and choose which addons to buy. While it resulted in flexibility, it also often caused confusion or missing features. That’s no longer the case.

Starting with EasyCommerce v1.0, all pricing plans include every premium addon, both current and future, for as long as you’re subscribed.
