How to recover abandoned carts in EasyCommerce

EasyCommerce comes with a ‘one-of-a-kind’ cart recovery feature to recover lost sales as much as possible. With this powerful tool, your website can automatically detect and track abandoned carts by helping you take action and re-engage potential customers. 

The process is simple and quick - follow the steps below to recover sales you thought were lost.

Step 1: Navigate to Cart Recovery

From the sidebar, navigate to Store > Settings, and click on Cart Recovery from the side menu.

Step 2: Enter Delay Timer Value

Enter a delay timer value in the first input field. This represents the duration after which a cart will be marked as abandoned. Click Save Settings to apply the changes.

Step 3: Add an Email Subject

Draft an email to effectively remind your customers about their products in their cart. Start by creating a catchy subject line that reminds them of their abandoned cart and captures their attention. 

Step 4: Craft an Email Body

Now, create a eye-catching email body. You can add various placeholders (##name##, ##cart_link##, ##product_list##, etc.) to ensure all the recipient gets a personal email containing their name and products. 

When you’re done writing, click Create to complete setting up the progress.

How to use Cart Recovery from EasyCommerce Dashboard 

With EasyCommerce, you can easily view and manage all abandoned carts right from your dashboard. When the timing feels right, simply click the Remind button to send an abandoned cart email and encourage customers to complete their purchase.

To remove an cart from the list, simply click the Bin button next to it.
