CSV Importer
The CSV Importer addon makes it super easy to move your products from other ecommerce plugins into EasyCommerce without errors. Just fill out a CSV file with your product details, then upload it using the addon.
That’s all it takes to import a large number of products quickly and smoothly. Keep reading for a more detailed step-by-step guide.
N.B.: Before installing the addon, make sure that your EasyCommerce store is connected to the system with an API key.
- Sign in to your WordPress website’s dashboard.
- Go to the EasyCommerce > Addons section and click ‘Activate’ under the EasyCommerce CSV Importer Addon.
Now, EasyCommerce will automatically download, install, and activate the CSV Importer addon to your ecommerce store.
- Next, access the addon’s functionality from Store > Importer.
You’ll see an option (Click Here) to download a demo CSV file and upload your own file filled with product information. The demo file already has the correct format and columns, so you don’t have to create a new file from scratch.
We encourage you to use the demo file for better workability. Fill in the product related informations like name, attribute, quantity, versions, pricing, image URL, etc.
- Once ready, upload the CSV file via ‘Choose File’ button.
- Select the CSV file from the directory and then tap ‘Continue’ to proceed uploading.
- Review the column settings if you wish to remap the criteria fields.
- Click ‘Continue’ to proceed to the final step.
- Finally, click ‘Import Now’ to finish importing the data from the CSV file.
Once the process is complete, you will be redirected to the product page where you'll see all your newly added products.
