The EasyCommerce Zapier Add-on connects your EasyCommerce store to Zapier, letting your store events flow automatically into thousands of apps and services. When something happens in your shop - an order is placed, a product is updated, a customer signs up, a refund is processedβ your store sends a real-time, securely signed webhook to Zapier, which can then trigger any Zap you build.
It is designed for store owners and operators who want to automate repetitive work without writing code: sync orders to a spreadsheet, push new customers into a CRM or email list, post sales to a team chat, or fire off notifications the moment an event occurs. The integration uses standard OAuth2 authentication and Zapier's REST Hook model, so connecting is a guided, copy-and-paste setup.
The add-on listens to EasyCommerce action hooks across your entire store and turns each one into a Zapier trigger. Whenever a matching event fires, a payload is dispatched instantly to your connected Zap. Coverage spans the full commerce lifecycle:
Connections are authorized with a full OAuth2 authorization-code flow rather than a static API key. The add-on generates a unique Client ID and Client Secret for your site on activation and presents a dedicated consent screen where a logged-in store administrator approves access before any token is issued.
Every webhook payload is signed with an HMAC-SHA256 signature derived from a per-subscription secret and a timestamp. Each delivery carries X-Zapier-Event, X-Zapier-Timestamp, and X-Zapier-Signature headers so the receiving end can verify that the data genuinely came from your store and was not altered in transit.
Webhook delivery is hardened against abuse and misconfiguration. Outbound URLs are validated before each send, and requests targeting private or reserved network addresses are blocked to guard against server-side request forgery. Deliveries are sent non-blocking with a short timeout, so dispatching events never slows down your storefront or checkout.
The add-on implements Zapier's REST Hook pattern, which means subscriptions manage themselves. When you turn a Zap on, Zapier calls the subscribe endpoint and the plugin stores the target URL; when you turn it off, Zapier calls unsubscribe and the plugin removes it. A dedicated samples endpoint feeds realistic example data into the Zap editor so you can map fields before any live event ever fires.
A dedicated Zapier panel inside EasyCommerce settings surfaces every value Zapier needs β Client ID, Client Secret, authorization URL, token and refresh URLs, scopes, connection label, and the subscribe, unsubscribe, and samples endpoints β each ready to copy into the matching Zapier field. An optional allowed-redirect-URI whitelist lets you lock down exactly where OAuth callbacks may go.
Activate the add-on β With EasyCommerce active, install and activate the Zapier add-on. On activation, it automatically generates your OAuth2 client credentials and prepares its database.
Open the Zapier settings panel β Go to EasyCommerce settings and open the Zapier tab. Under Authentication, you will find your Client ID, Client Secret, authorization, token, refresh, and test URLs, scopes, and the webhook endpoints β all read-only and ready to copy.

Create and connect your Zap β In Zapier, start a new Zap with EasyCommerce as the trigger app and paste in the credentials and URLs from the settings panel. Approve the connection on the consent screen to authorize access.
Pick a trigger and automate β Choose an event such as Order Created or Product Updated, let Zapier pull in sample data to map your fields, and connect it to any downstream app. From then on, matching store events are delivered to your Zap in real time.

Note: This is an add-on and requires the EasyCommerce plugin to be installed and active, along with a Zapier account. Webhook triggers are only dispatched while EasyCommerce is running.
Connect your store to Zapier today and let your everyday tasks run themselves β automatically, securely, and in real time.
