The AI Shopping Agent and Store Copilot are agentic, so they work in turns. Each internal turn, reading your catalog, calling a tool, or composing a reply, costs 1 credit. A simple question may take a single turn, while a complex one can span several, so a single customer question typically costs 1 to 10 credits depending on how much reasoning it needs.
