Getting Started

Step 1 – First activate the plugin from EasyCommerce > Addons and then enable it as a payment gateway method from EasyCommerce > Settings > Payment > Methods.

Step 2 - Now access the HitPay payment gateway settings tab and configure it. Enter your HitPay credentials (Business API Key and Webhook Salt).

(Get the credentials from the HitPay dashboard. Choose Sandbox Mode for testing or leave it off to accept live payments.)

Step 3 – Enable the payment methods you want. Select which HitPay methods to accept — PayNow, GrabPay, cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, WeChatPay, and AliPay — or leave the selection empty to allow all of them.

Step 4 – Register your webhook with HitPay. Copy the webhook URL shown in the settings and add it in your HitPay dashboard so completed payments update your orders automatically.

Step 5 – Place a test order. With Sandbox Mode on, run a checkout, complete the payment on HitPay's hosted page, and confirm the order returns and updates to your chosen default status.

Note: This add-on requires the EasyCommerce plugin to be installed and active, plus a HitPay account with a Business API Key and Webhook Salt. Payments are processed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) when the gateway is active.
